Job summary

Morrison Foerster seeks an attorney with 3–6 years of finance experience at a top-tier law firm to represent private equity sponsors, borrowers, and other borrowers in secured transactions, including acquisition financings and refinancings.

The candidate must be a member of the State Bar of California, and possess strong collaboration, client-relations, and communication skills to thrive within MoFo’s Finance practice in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of finance experience at a top-tier law firm.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors and borrowers in secured transactions.
• Must be a member of the State Bar of California.
• Strong collaboration, initiative and client relationship skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Who You Are

• You are a high performer with 3 to 6 years offinance experience at a top-tier law firm, primarily representing private equity sponsors, private companies, and other borrowers in secured transactions, particularly in connection with acquisition financings and refinancings.
• You are a collaborative team player with strong initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills.
• You can communicate complex matters clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
• You are eager to grow professionally and actively contribute to firm and practice initiatives.
• You are a member of the State Bar of California.
