Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is assisting a law firm in Minneapolis, MN to hire a Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in commercial financing transactions.

The successful candidate will represent institutional lenders in secured finance, draft and negotiate loan documents, and work with partners to advance deals from term sheet to closing. A JD and Minnesota license (or waiver) are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Minnesota license or ability to waive in.
• 3–5 years of substantive commercial finance experience.
• Experience with secured finance transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent institutional lenders in secured finance transactions (asset-based lending, real estate finance).
• Serve as day-to-day deal counsel, manage transaction workstreams, drive deals to closing.
