Job summary

Antech Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate to join the Finance team in Chesapeake, VA. The role covers accounts payable/receivable, payroll reporting, reconciliations, asset management, and financial reporting.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, have basic accounting understanding, and are proficient in Excel. Unanet Financials experience is a plus; the position is hybrid with some in-office days.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoices, payments, billing, and maintaining vendor and customer records.
• Prepare payroll and financial reports and assist with related reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain and update company asset records, including tracking additions, transfers, and disposals.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial activities and reporting.
• Process financial transactions and corrections and maintain organized supporting documentation.
• Work with team members to obtain and verify financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with Finance projects and other duties as needed.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our Finance team.

This position will support several key areas of our day-to-day financial operations, with responsibility for maintaining accurate records and completing assigned tasks from start to finish. The role will work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll reporting, monthly reconciliations, asset management, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to learn. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing accurate work, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable asking questions when needed.

This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of working in the office a few days each week.

What You'll Do

$50,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
