Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks an experienced Manager to join its Finance-as-a-Service practice, supporting publicly traded and IPO-bound companies. You will oversee accounting operations, review complex activities, and help clients build scalable, audit-ready finance functions in a client-service setting.

The role emphasizes internal controls, technical accounting, and collaboration with auditors and cross-functional advisory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in public or corporate accounting within a public company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of client engagement teams supporting public companies and IPO-bound organizations.
• Manage and review close activities monthly, quarterly, and annually for accuracy and timeliness.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules to meet audit standards.
• Evaluate processes to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.
• Assist in building robust control environments aligned with public company expectations.
• Oversee engagement workstreams while mentoring staff.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure service delivery.
• Evaluate complex accounting matters such as stock-based compensation and debt accounting.
• Identify risks early and develop practical remediation plans.
• Support growth, transformation, and IPO readiness initiatives.
• Contribute to business development by strengthening client relationships.
