Job summary

DIRECTV offers a 10-week remote Summer Internship in Finance. You will support the Audit and Finance teams, contributing to risk assessment, planning, and data-driven improvements while applying classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

You will develop dashboards and analytics using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Python, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems.
• Understanding of key corporate financial measures and IT basics including network and system administration.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; interest in AI tools and process automation.

Who We’re Looking For

• Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Understanding of key corporate financial measures of success, information systems and IT security basics including network and system administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Interested in AI tools, process automation, or similar technologies (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Power BI, Python, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a virtual work environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to stakeholders.

Program Details

• Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
• Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
• Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
• This position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Hourly rate based on academic status.
