Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a Finance Analytics Specialist to join the Claims Finance team in Schaumburg, IL. You will create financial presentations and models for strategic initiatives across business units, and develop dashboards to deepen insights into claim operations.

You will also automate reporting, forecast staffing needs, and explain ULAE results while partnering with leadership to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with 6+ years in Accounting or Finance.
• Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program with related experience.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Create financial presentations and models for strategic projects across business units.
• Develop dashboards and reports to analyze claim operations and outcomes.
• Maintain and improve claims dashboards and automate reporting.
• Create claim staffing models and forecast future staffing needs.
• Explain ULAE results and improve allocation processes.
• Provide ULAE rates for planning and forecasting; collaborate with leadership.
• Communicate complex financial information to business partners across functions.
• Prepare messages, reports, and analyses for management teams.
