Job summary

Kent Shared Services (Kent Corporation) in Muscatine, Iowa, is seeking a Finance & Business Analytics Intern to gain hands-on experience across Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Costing and Demand Planning. You will analyze data, develop reports in Power BI and OneStream, and help streamline processes to support business decisions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, design practical reporting solutions, and gain exposure to Dynamics 365 and Excel.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data organization.
Exposure to Power BI, ERP systems, databases, OneStream, or similar reporting and planning tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
Effective written and verbal communication with ability to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

Analyze end-to-end processes and recommend improvements in reporting and efficiency.
Design and implement budgeting, forecasting, and cost-tracking processes.
Build OneStream financial reports, dashboards, and management views.
Develop Power BI reports and visualizations from governed data sources.
Support cross-functional teams with data preparation and ad hoc analysis.
