Ankura invites applications for a University Intern in Disputes & Economics within the Financial Services Advisory practice in New York, NY. You will join a project team delivering analyses across Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets, and FinTech, using AI to enhance client outcomes and optimize costs.

This paid internship requires completing an undergraduate degree with a 3.3+ GPA, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and knowledge of AI tools.

Qualificações

• Completion of an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 and a major in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other analytical course of study
• A 3.3 GPA or better is required
• Solid knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of AI tools and workflow automation
• Ability to work in a dynamic professional services environment
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel and work overtime when needed
• Advanced technical skills including SQL, R, Python, or SAS are a plus

Responsabilidades

• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and automation in processes and controls and related risks
• Assist in gathering client data and utilizing AI to support analysis
• Review client documentation to understand current-state processes
• Perform financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analyses
• Document findings through crafting stories in PowerPoint
• Assist with project plans, action lists, issues and tracking and reporting on progress in status reports
• Prepare client reports and exhibits
• Present findings to the consulting team and clients
