Job summary

Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, is seeking a Finance Analyst in our Irving, Texas or Kansas City, Missouri location. You will partner with Finance Directors and business teams to drive pricing, forecast accuracy, and quarterly reporting.

The role offers exposure to S&OP, margin optimization, and strategic decision support. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Line Managers, Operations, and the business systems team to enhance processes, governance, and reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role with a history of success.
• Occasional business travel needed (5%).
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Glovia ERP, Power BI, Epicor ERP preferable but not essential.
• Confident communication; ability to challenge business teams effectively.
• Ability to balance short-term demands with a long-term, strategic agenda.
• Excel; familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, Glovia ERP, Epicor ERP.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day‑to‑day Finance Business Partner to leadership and commercial teams.
• Provide financial insight to support pricing, customer decisions, product mix, and investment trade‑offs.
• Partner with Sales, Product Line Managers, and Operations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support pricing and margin discussions by analyzing product, customer, and market profitability.
• Own monthly orders, sales, and margin reporting and month-end close outputs.
• Assist in annual planning and continuous improvement of reporting and forecasting processes.
