Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization’s objectives. The role includes general accounting, monthly closes, forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, customer financing, cash management, inventory, disbursements, and investment in accordance with corporate policies.

The candidate will interact with multiple departments to analyze financial results, support capital projects, and drive profitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience OR Finance/Accounting internship within Oshkosh Corporation.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the business with internal and external customers; analyze and prepare monthly results for management.
• Assist in development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts; lead Make vs. Buy decisions and capital project appropriation requests.
• Communicate opportunities to deliver value for customers; partner with management on performance measurement and profitability improvements.
• Manage monthly close process for assigned areas and business segments; reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial reporting packages.
• Assist in managing business systems; test and document Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
• Develop customer-friendly systems, processes and metrics; monitor key operational benchmarks.
• Champion Oshkosh People First competencies to engage and develop team members.
• Identify and support continuous improvement projects using CIMS tools.
