Job description

We are looking for a Finance Analyst Senior to join our Cosmetic Europe Business Unit (BU) to support its development. The aim of this role will be to support the organization to achieve further growth in the Personal Care market.

This position will require a thorough understanding of the bills of materials, routings, labor costs, raw material cost, production drivers, and production variances.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintaining the integrity of products costs (updating the standard costs, reviewing them for accuracy through margin reports, reviewing variances to the standards to identify corrective actions and to update the forecast, bridging gross margin period over period,…)
  • Being the primary Business Partner for the Operations team in order to identify opportunities to improve absorption and yield management, and to support the process engineering initiatives;
  • Running the weekly sales forecast preparation
  • Supporting Sales & Marketing with cost simulations for appropriate pricing when quoting new businesses;
  • Supporting the Finance Director with reports and analysis for Budget and month end closing;
  • Implementing best practices in connection with the Global Cost Accounting Shared Service team

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical skills in cost accounting with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and in mass data manipulation. Computer literate and functional in the use of integrated business systems. Previous experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Team player and demonstrated hands on self-starter with the ability to identify and proactively resolve business issues.
  • Your enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork to create an amazing in-office environment full-time, 5 days per week.
