Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Finance Analyst - Senior for a 12-month contract in Wheatfield, IN. The role pays $38.00 - $48.00 per hour on a W2 contract with no PTO or benefits, and an ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

The candidate should have an undergraduate degree in business/finance and a relevant professional designation (CFA/CPA) with 10–15 years of experience. HR and accounting teams will rely on your financial analysis and modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on highly complex audit matters and participate in large scale projects.

• Review data room materials and assess accounting impacts under US GAAP.
• Assist accounting groups with financial research and analysis for special projects.

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Finance Analyst - Senior to join a gas and electric company in Wheatfield, IN. This is a 12-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $38.00 - $48.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description

• Provides advice in highly complex audit matters and participates in large scale business projects typically on an area of expertise.
• Supervise and provide direction and training to other staff while developing financial models.
• Makes decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues.
• In the absence of formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy.
• Provide finance and accounting support for potential acquisitions and or ongoing major projects.
• Can include reviewing data room material, identifying potential financial accounting issues, financial reporting impact of these issues under various acceptable statutory accounting practices (e.g. US GAAP) as well as reviewing financial models to ensure appropriate presentation of accounting treatment and accuracy of financial models;
• Assist the Energy Accounting, Pipeline Accounting and Financial Reporting groups with financial research and analysis for special projects as well as financial statement review.
