Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Hazleton, PA is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to provide critical accounting and financial support to plant and divisional operations. You will deliver accurate reporting, analyze financial data, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- 1+ years of accounting, finance, financial analysis, or related business experience.
- Manufacturing, cost accounting, or plant finance experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical accounting and financial support to plant and divisional operations through reporting and analysis.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
- Prepare and maintain financial and operational reports to support decision-making.
- Research, analyze, and reconcile financial data for accuracy and completeness.
- Support reporting on fixed assets, inventory, sales, rebates, standard costing, and government requirements.
- Contribute to journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and expense reviews during closes.
- Assist with monthly statements, management reports, and performance metrics.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes and provide data-driven insights.
- Help maintain internal controls and assist with SOX compliance and audits.

As a Finance Analyst, you'll provide critical accounting and financial support to plant and divisional operations by delivering accurate reporting, analyzing financial and operational data, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support business performance, strengthen financial controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
This is an entry-level professional role that performs recurring accounting and reporting activities, resolves routine issues, and contributes to continuous process improvement while working under general supervision.

- Research, analyze, and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Standard Costing
- Government Reporting Requirements
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including:
- Journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Expense reviews
- Trend analysis
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and other business performance metrics.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Provide financial insights and data analysis to assist operational and business leaders in achieving performance objectives.
- Help maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements through accurate documentation and adherence to established processes.
- Assist internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
- Demonstrate and promote the Amcor Way in daily interactions and decision-making.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, accountability, and timely execution of responsibilities.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and business results.
