Cox Automotive is offering a Financial Analyst Intern position with a hybrid work option and a focus on data-driven finance analytics. You’ll learn to turn numbers into insights, supporting forecasting, reporting and KPI tracking while leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency.

This internship provides mentorship, exposure to cross-functional teams, and the chance to contribute to real analytics projects in a dynamic, industry setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) and SQL preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Basic AI literacy and ability to use AI tools to accelerate tasks.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and organizational skills.
• US work authorization; sponsorship is not available for this program.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize and analyze financial data to deliver actionable insights.
• Support the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in building and maintaining financial forecasting models and tracking KPIs.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting and surface insights faster.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Network with peers and professionals across the business.
