Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park seeks a Finance Analyst - Accounting to join a collaborative finance team. You will support accounting close, reconciliations, financial reporting, controls, and audit readiness, ensuring complete and accurate records.

Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration are essential in a lean environment. The role requires hands-on accounting experience, a solid IFRS foundation, and the ability to adapt priorities as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA/CMA or progress toward certification is a plus.
• Experience in oil and gas, refining, or complex industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries with documentation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support month/quarter/year-end close and analytical reporting.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance and Operations.
