Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level financial professional to support business management of large projects in the Power market. The role involves forecasting, accounting, and understanding project costs from $1M to $4B, with opportunities for relocation as needed.

Based in Houston, you will work under the Operational Finance department, collaborate with the project team, and develop skills in cost control, invoicing, and reporting while benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package and a path

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship to begin/continue employment.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs.
• Masters the payroll and HR process workflow and the systems used to hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees.
• Understands purchasing, invoices, payments, and internal controls.
• Reviews costs, budget structure and exception reports for accurate reporting.
• Identifies forecast and budget issues with cost reports to confirm proper recognition of cost and revenue.
