Cornell Brooks School of Public Policy seeks a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial planning. You will partner with senior leaders to guide decisions and enhance financial health across centers, institutes, and degree programs.

You will translate complex data into clear insights, develop reporting tools, and collaborate across a small, highly visible finance team.

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance or business administration bachelor’s degree and 3 to 4 years relevant experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of financial and data management systems (Kuali, Oracle BI, Workday, Longview).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Develop, analyze, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for centers, institutes, and academic programs.
• Partner with directors and leadership to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial trends and identify opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
• Prepare financial data and presentations for senior leaders, including the Dean and leadership team.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools that provide accurate, actionable financial information.
