Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC seeks a Finance Associate to join our Finance team in a high-visibility role at the center of deal activity. You will own financial models underpinning acquisition decisions and sit with the deal team from underwriting through to investment committee, shaping growth strategies.

You will collaborate with FP&A and Corporate Finance on post-close execution, integration, and ongoing performance reporting for acquired assets, with exposure to leadership and our financial sponsor

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or related analytics.
• Strong financial modeling skills with demonstrated ability to build and audit complex models.
• Experience translating quantitative analysis into clear business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present findings to senior leadership.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

• Acquisition Underwriting & Financial Modeling — Builds and maintains financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities, including cash flow analysis and scenario analysis.
• Deal Presentation & Communication — Prepares investment presentations and materials, translating complex analysis into decision-ready output.
• Due Diligence Support — Supports due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, including data room review and financial statement analysis.
• Post-Close Execution & Integration — Partners with FP&A and Corporate Finance on post-close integration and performance tracking.
• Stakeholder Reporting & Firm Support — Prepares recurring and ad hoc analyses for internal stakeholders and our financial sponsor.

Flywheel Energy is seeking a Finance Associate to join our Finance team in a high-visibility, high-impact role at the center of our deal activity. You'll sit alongside the deal team on every acquisition -- underwriting, sensitizing, and pressure testing opportunities before they reach the investment committee -- and you'll own the financial models that underpin those decisions. This is a role with real ownership: your work directly shapes how we evaluate and pursue growth, and you'll have direct exposure to leadership and our financial sponsor from day one. Beyond deal support, you'll collaborate with FP&A and Corporate Finance on post-close execution and integration, support sourcing and firm-wide projects as we scale, and prepare recurring and one-off analyses for internal stakeholders.
