Job summary

Intelehealth is a global nonprofit leveraging a technology platform to improve access to primary health care. This remote Finance role focuses on monthly close, GST/TDS filings, donor fund reporting, and audit support, offering impact-driven work with cross-entity coordination.

The candidate will handle reconciliations, reporting, and compliance, with emphasis on accuracy and deadlines. Experience with nonprofit accounting and Indian regulatory needs is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in finance or accounting (B.Com. / M.Com. or MBA in Finance).
• 3–5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including GST/TDS filing, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Strong MS Excel and accounting software proficiency; familiarity with Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of Indian regulatory/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly period close activities for both entities.
• Post accounting entries on a monthly basis.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare Fund Utilization reports for donors.
• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns.
• Assist in audits and other regulatory compliance activities.
• Assist in ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

• - Performing monthly period close activities for both entities
• - Posting accounting entries on a monthly basis
• - Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• - Preparation of Fund Utilization reports for donors
• - Preparing and filing of GST and TDS returns
• - Assist in completing audits and other regulatory compliance activities
• - Assisting in ad hoc analysis and reporting

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Com. M.Com or equivalent / MBA in Finance

Prior experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including GST/TDS filing, reconciliations, and audit support

Skill sets: Technical Skills

• - GST and TDS return preparation and filing
• - Monthly period close and journal entry posting
• - Balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis
• - Fund Utilization Report preparation for donors (Good to Have)
• - Statutory and internal audit support
