This role is responsible for the facilitation of billing process, financial analysis, and reporting for individual projects. This role will handle financial management for smaller clients.Key Responsibilities :Client ServicingMaintain files, documents, and other relevant documentationSupport client finance partners and internal client teams across one or more clientsAssist with client reporting, audit requests and data collectionRun financial queries upon staff requestMaintain repository of critical client information Ad hoc requests and projectsCalculate and track monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billingsEnsure timely submission of invoices and supporting documentation to clientFinancial Management and PlanningGain exposure to client staffing and pricing process under supervision of Finance ManagerReview and approve sourcing department’s service orders (with oversight)Manage fee reconciliationReview and escalate to senior finance lead on any write-offs in billing reviewAssist project managers with billing reviewAssist in collecting commentary on aged receivablesReview project request forms for compliance and open project codesProcess purchase orders upon requestProvide time and expense details to PM’s as incurred on project(s)Review missing time reports weekly and follow up with delinquenciesUpdate client budget tracker monthlyMeasures of SuccessDemonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values, Code of Ethics and Business ConductSet and pursue challenging stretch goals for yourselfCommit to continuous learning and improvement of your technical and leadership skillsTake responsibility for personal growth and development using available resources such as ELI, on-the-job training, and mentoringBasic Qualifications:At least 1 year of relevant experienceA Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.Preferred Qualifications:Strong interpersonal communication skillsClient service orientedAbility to foster positive working relationshipsWell-organized with strong time management skills and attention to detailP roficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)$50,000 - $70,000 a year#LI-JLFAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
