Job summary

The University of Kansas’s RedTire program seeks a student analyst to support valuation modeling and financial analysis for live business transitions. This on-site role at Capitol Federal Hall pays $10.25 per hour during training and offers wage increases for returning semesters based on performance.

Requirements include a finance- or accounting-focused undergraduate track (or MACC/MBA with finance) and enrollment in FIN 310/311. Summer terms require credit-hour enrollment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a finance or accounting major, or enrolled in MACC/MBA with finance.
• Must be enrolled in FIN 310 or FIN 311.
• Preferred internship experience in finance-related field.

Responsibilities

• Extrapolate raw financial data (from tax returns and P&Ls) into RedTire models.
• Perform business valuation analyses using established models and procedures.
• Help with industry, location, and market research initiatives.
• Other ad-hoc financial and modeling analysis duties as required.
• Assist with day-to-day administration and lead generation for candidate businesses.
