Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an AI Governance Lead for the Finance AI team to build a governance and controls framework that enables rapid AI tool adoption while protecting financial data. The role works with Finance, Internal Audit, Security, Legal, and IT to define intake, risk triage, and approval processes.

Required experience includes 8+ years in controls, audit, risk, governance, information security, or related fields, with strong knowledge of SOX and data classifications.

Qualifications

• A track record of building a governance, controls, or process function from the ground up.
• Fluency in financial controls and SOX, plus knowledge of the broader regulatory landscape; familiarity with data classification and third-party risk.
• Enough technical literacy in system architecture, Databricks, and AI technologies to ask the right questions and challenge designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the governance path for AI tools and agents across Finance.
• Set and enforce guardrails for agents that touch financial or regulated data with IT and vendors.
• Provide clear, implementable guidance and documentation; documentation-as-code.
• Reduce process lift by creating reusable pre-approved patterns for developers and analysts.
• Learn and use the latest AI technology while translating AI risks into practical criteria.
