Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in accounting, finance, administration, or professional-services operations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Experience overseeing accounting and administrative functions.
• Experience working in a small or mid-sized organization where leaders are expected to be hands-on.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in downtown Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee monthly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, financial partners, and other professional advisors.
• Lead office operations, facilities, vendors, and administrative services.
• Prepare materials for Board meetings and leadership discussions.
• Provide financial and operational reporting to leadership and the Board.
