Job summary

Seattle Pacific Foundation seeks a Foundation Director of Finance and Treasurer to provide financial leadership for accounting, treasury, investment, trust, and reporting activities. This is an on-campus role based in Seattle, WA, reporting to the Vice President for Business and Finance and partnering with Foundation leadership to ensure integrity and transparency.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting expertise, supervisory experience, and a track record in nonprofit or higher education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field required.
• CPA licensure preferred; CPA or other advanced accounting credentials beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and nonprofit/foundation accounting.
• Experience supervising accounting staff and coordinating audits.
• Experience in investment accounting, endowment accounting, or charitable trusts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership for Foundation accounting, treasury, trust, and investment operations.
• Maintain integrity of financial records, transactions, and reporting systems.
• Strengthen financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with university leadership for consistent Foundation and University reporting.
