Job summary

Charles River Associates invites summer interns to work on live client projects alongside senior colleagues for 8–10 weeks, gaining exposure to economics, finance, and accounting in a consulting setting.

You'll develop analytical, valuation, and regression skills using Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or SAS, while benefiting from professional development and a collegial culture that often leads to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates graduating in December 2027/Summer 2028 in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related area.
• Solid working knowledge of finance, accounting, and economic methodologies.
• Strong Excel skills and quantitative analysis abilities.
• Familiarity with GAAP, governance, and regulatory environments.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing large transaction data sets.
• Demonstrated initiative and teamwork with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist on live client projects alongside senior colleagues.
• Conduct economic and industry research to understand case issues.
• Build financial/economic analyses and valuation models to support theories.
