Job summary

Talent Elite Group is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting and Finance for a prestigious hospitality organization in Long Beach, CA. This 100% onsite leadership role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audits, and capital planning.

You will partner with senior leadership to analyze operating results, drive profitability, and support strategic decisions, while mentoring the finance team and overseeing capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Significant accounting and finance leadership experience within luxury hospitality.
• 5+ years of senior finance/accounting management experience.
• Strong background in complex hotel or resort financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, audits, cash flow, and capital expenditures.
• Experience with resort openings, expansions, renovations, or major capital projects highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a hands-on management style.
• NetSuite or comparable ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the property's finance and accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audits, and capital planning.
• Partner with senior leadership to analyze operating results, identify opportunities to improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial statements, variance analysis, financial controls, and year‑end audits.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team while driving accountability and process improvement.
• Support capital projects, long‑range planning, and financial reporting for key stakeholders.
