Amentum is seeking a motivated Finance & Accounting Intern for our Summer Internship Program in Huntsville, AL. This temporary role supports monthly reporting, budgeting, and analysis while gaining real-world experience in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications include enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting or Finance, completion of at least 24 credit hours, and a minimum 2.8 GPA. U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Finance or a related field at an accredited university.
• Completed at least 24 credit hours.
• Minimum of 2.8 GPA.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Help with cost tracking, invoice processing and audit preparation
• Analyze financial data and present insights to team leaders
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and special projects
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
