Job summary

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Analyst Intern to support financial reporting, compliance, accounting operations, controls and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.
• Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and financial reporting activities including close, reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist with internal controls, compliance and accounting governance activities.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Analyze accounting data and reporting outputs to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and IT teams.
• Lead a capstone project and present recommendations to leadership.
