Job summary

Doppio Group is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to own and build the finance function across US, Canada, and India. The role reports to the COO and partners with the CEO to drive strategic financial decisions while staying deeply hands-on with daily accounting operations.

You'll lead financial operations, planning, and governance in a lean, fast-growing environment, overseeing billing, payroll, forecasting, and robust reporting for strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on accounting and finance experience in professional services such as IT services, marketing, staffing or consulting.
• Lean, fast-paced environment experience with multiple hats and growing revenue under $50M.
• FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 for project-based and recurring revenue models.
• Experience owning month-end close, financial reporting, and core accounting processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot, formulas, VBA/Power Query).
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial information for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, month-end close process, and financial reporting across entities (US, Canada, India).
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing for project-based consulting and managed services.
• Oversee payroll processing for US and Canada, including benefits administration.
• Handle revenue recognition, accruals, and journal entries for professional services and managed services.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements; support external audit and tax processes.
• Manage banking relationships, monitor cash flow, and oversee cash investments.
