Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking an analytically rigorous contractor to evaluate and improve AI-generated finance and accounting work. You will judge calculations, assumptions, methods, and conclusions to ensure high quality outputs.

The role is remote, part-time hourly with 20+ hours per week, requiring at least three years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. CPA/CFA preferred but not required. Compensation is $100 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, business, applied mathematics, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Create challenging finance, accounting, valuation, investment, audit, and analytical problems requiring professional judgment.
• Write scoring rubrics covering calculations, assumptions, methodology, completeness, materiality, reasoning, risk, and presentation.
• Review AI-generated analyses for numerical accuracy, financial logic, terminology, reconciliations, methodology, conclusions and supporting evidence.
• Separate calculation errors, methodological errors, unsupported assumptions, and reasonable differences in professional judgment.
• Identify material errors in accounting treatment, valuation logic, financial interpretation, and risk analysis.
• Review peer rubrics for ambiguity, missing components, duplicated criteria, excessive subjectivity, and technical errors.
• Create analyses, solutions, critiques, explanations, preferences, and reference-answer pairs for AI training.
