Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a front line support specialist for the Patient Connection Center in Atlanta to verify insurance, determine benefits, and coordinate pre-certifications. You will review hospital service accounts and create estimates to determine pre-service patient liability prior to arrival.

Responsibilities include initiating authorizations, coordinating with departments, and ensuring complete documentation for smooth patient intake in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance experience required.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred (optional).
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred (optional).

• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience Preferred
• Prior Epic experience Preferred
