Job summary

GRISWOLD INDUSTRIES in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Final Assembler to assemble and test valve assemblies and components, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure conformity with government, export and quality specs. You will write test reports and maintain safety and accuracy in production environments.

Reports to the Final Assembly Lead/Assembly Manager; experience with power tools, bending tools, and safe forklift operations is valued for efficient manufacturing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling and testing valve assemblies and components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with safety protocols and hazardous materials handling.
• Familiarity with bill of materials and issuing stock requisitions.
• Forklift operations training or certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and inspect BOMs and drawings.
• Test all production valves and components.
• Operate bending tools and power tools.
• Read dimensions and verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Document test results and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering.
