Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Final Test Team Lead to guide the quality assurance team on the shop floor, ensuring daily quality targets are met and processes comply with standards. You will train team members on quality processes and serve as the go-to expert for quality practices.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong communication across functional areas. On-site position at our Saugerties, NY facility.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years assembly experience.
• 1-3 years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
• Ability to lead and supervise a small group.
• Knowledge of ERP systems beneficial, especially Encompix.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of quality inspectors to meet daily quality targets.
• Maintain a safety-first culture on the shop floor.
• Facilitate training for the QA team on quality processes.
• Communicate progress and coordinate troubleshooting across teams.
• Maintain organized work areas (5S) and support continuous improvement.
• Act as subject matter expert for quality processes.
• Manage labor transactions for the team and Encompix on routing operations.
• Oversee performance management for direct staff.

Your role

The Final Test Team Lead is responsible for providing direction on the shop floor to the quality assurance team to ensure daily quality targets are met. This position serves as the key point of contact between various functions, focusing on maintaining product quality standards. Additionally, the Final Test Team Lead is responsible for training team members in quality processes, ensuring that all team members adhere to the required quality standards.

Main Responsiblities

• Executes the quality assurance plan by directing a team of quality inspectors, ensuring daily and weekly quality targets are met.
• Drives a safety-first culture within the team and leads by example.
• Facilitates training for the quality assurance team, providing supervision and guidance as required.
• Communicates progress updates and manages troubleshooting across teams and functional areas.
• Maintains an organized work area (5S) including workstations, equipment, and walkways.
• Participates and contributes to continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency.
• Maintains positive team morale with an open atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
• Acts as the subject matter expert for quality processes.
• Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Responsible for labor transaction maintenance functions for the team and Encompix on routing operations.
• Responsible for the performance management cycle for all direct staff.
• Respectfully takes direction from the Flow Team Manager Manager and performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma minimum, Associate degree is a benefit.

Salary: $33.00-$38.00/per hour
