Job summary

APX invites applications for an Assembly Technician to join the manufacturing team in Greencastle, IN. The role focuses on final assembly of custom products, installing gaskets, nuts, bolts, locks, and brackets, and preparing goods for shipment.

Candidates should have mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly of custom products including installation of components.
• Package finished goods for shipment and label for inventory.
• Identify components for inventory control and customer requirements.
• Assist in training teammates on assembly techniques as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools such as belt sanders, drills, grinders, saws and related equipment.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and climbing.
