Job summary

Abner Solar Inc. is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Final Quality Inspectors to support final product inspection and outgoing quality control at our solar cell manufacturing facility. On-the-job training will be provided.

This role focuses on inspecting finished cells, reviewing AOI and EL images to identify defects, recording results, and ensuring shipments meet quality standards. You will work with a team to maintain accurate records and support corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills and accurate record-keeping.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Responsible, patient, willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished solar cells to quality standards with basic electrical checks.
• Review AOI and EL images to identify and classify defects.
• Perform outgoing quality inspections before shipment, checking batches, packaging, labeling.
• Record inspection results and prepare basic quality reports.
• Identify and document defective products.
• Report quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection tools, samples, and quality records.
• Keep work areas clean and organized per 6S standards.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Inspect finished solar cells according to company quality standards, including visual and basic electrical quality checks.
• 2. Review AOI and EL inspection images to identify, verify, and classify product defects.
• 3. Perform outgoing quality inspections before shipment, including checking product batches, packaging, and labeling.
• 4. Record inspection results and prepare basic quality reports.
• 5. Identify, separate, and document defective products.
• 6. Report quality issues to supervisors and assist with follow-up corrective actions.
• 7. Maintain inspection tools, samples, and accurate quality records.
• 8. Keep work areas clean and organized following 6S standards.
• 9. Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 2. Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
• 3. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
