Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

The position requires candidates to be U.S. persons as defined in ITAR, 22CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status).

The Final Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring all processes involved in the production of Fiber Optic Components and Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies. The Inspector must ensure that quality standards are met at every step of the process involved in Fiber Optic Cable Assembly Manufacturing.

Essential Functions
  1. Inspects and verifies fiber optic cable assemblies using visual and measurement instruments (Calipers, Scales, Rulers, etc.).
  2. Reads and interprets customer and internal drawings.
  3. Reads and interprets Sales Orders and Customer contracts.
  4. Verifies production meets specifications and contractual requirements.
  5. Verifies IL (Insertion Loss) Test reports.
  6. Inspects in-process production for conformance to drawings and work instructions.
  7. Approves finished products by confirming specifications, customer, and internal requirements.
  8. Approves reworks as documented on Trouble Sheets or NCMRs.
  9. Documents inspection results by creating Certificates of Conformance.
  10. Maintains measurement equipment through proper operation and calibration.
  11. Identifies and documents non-conformances as required.

Required Education And Experience

  • One to two years of Quality Inspection experience.
