Job summary

Mattress Warehouse Llc in West Columbia, SC is seeking a dependable Final Mile Driver to deliver mattresses and setup beds at customers’ homes. You will operate a 26’ truck, lift heavy items, assemble frames, and ensure a safe, professional delivery experience.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass background and drug tests, and willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Background check required.
• Drug test including marijuana.
• Delivery/moving/warehouse experience is a plus.
• Able to lift and carry heavy items throughout the day.
• Comfortable working in a two-person team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to follow routes, schedules and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26’ delivery truck on assigned routes.
• Load, unload and deliver mattresses and bedding products.
• Carry large/heavy products through hallways and stairs.
• Assemble bed frames and adjustable bases when required.
• Place products in customers’ chosen rooms and remove packaging.
• Obtain customer signatures using a mobile device.
• Communicate delivery status to customers and dispatch.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Follow all company, traffic and safety requirements.
