Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Delivery Specialist to deliver merchandise to customers within assigned markets while upholding safety and quality standards. You will build trusted relationships, provide seasoned advice, and resolve issues during delivery to ensure a Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities include timely deliveries, safe vehicle operation, and collaboration with field sales and store teams to fulfill customer needs, including handling returns as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• MVR check requirements in place.
• Must be 23 years or older with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Ensure timely deliveries, meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery times.
• Operate and maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and trailer.
• Load, unload, and organize products safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and readiness.
• Maintain an accurate delivery record and address issues.
• Communicate with customers, providing updates during delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience.
• Collaborate with field sales and store staff to meet customer needs.
• Handle products with care to avoid damage during transport.
• Follow traffic laws and company policies for safe driving.
• Handle returns and exchanges as needed.
