About this position

Description:
2nd shift schedule is 3:15 p.m. - 11:45 p.m., Monday - Friday. Overtime may be available during the week. Training may take place on an earlier shift for the first 4 - 6 weeks.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to inspecting printed circuit boards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visually inspect processed panels on light table to detect defects. Such as bridges, breaks, slivers, line reduction, voids, excessive copper or poor plating.
• Rework pieces if possible.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to department supervisor and Director of Operations.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing for long periods of time is required. This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.

Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.

Use of light table, small hand tools and other small instruments. Good vision required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.

WORK SCHEDULE

Permanent schedule would be Monday - Friday from 3:15 p.m. - 11:45 p.m. though training may take place on either of the following shifts:

Training on 1st shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Training on mid-shift: 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Training may last from 4 - 6 weeks depending on performance, we will work with you to determine the best possible training schedule.

Salary Information

$18.75 - $20.75Hourly Wage
