Leaders Staffing is hiring a Fence Assembler to join a team assembling pontoon boat components in an industrial setting. You will count pieces, read prints and follow instructions to ensure accurate assembly on the 1st shift (6a-2p) with overtime on Saturdays.

Located in South West Fort Wayne, IN, this long-term, temporary role requires high school diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing assembly experience is preferred. Resume is preferred.

• Count all pieces before each job to ensure no extra or missing parts.
• Position parts per unit, following SOPs, WIs, and prints.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners.
• Operate hand tools and power tools (air drills, rivet guns, grinders) to assist assembly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Fence installation on pontoon boats in an industrial setting.

• Prior to each job, accurately count all pieces to ensure no extra/missing parts
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled; follow SOPs, WIs, and prints
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
• Operate air drills and screw guns, rivet guns, grinders, and hand tools to assist in assembly operation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing assembly experience preferred
• Work independently in a fast-paced team environment
• Read prints/work instructions
• Read and complete process sheets
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Lift up to 50 lbs. up to 25% of shift
