Job summary

Husco International in Maquoketa, IA is seeking a Final Operations Assembler for regular full-time work on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves assembling components, following blueprints, performing tests, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Understands hydraulics, process sheets and blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and torque equipment.
• Requires forklift truck operation certification and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Advanced understanding of Statistical Process Controls (SPC) tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Dependable, exhibits initiative, accountability and maximizes use of time.
• Mathematical and record keeping skills; ability to follow written procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Gather parts and materials for sub-assembly/assembly.
• Follow blueprints or diagrams to assemble components.
• Collaborate with quality control to address discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct functional tests and document results.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection and testing for traceability.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues to maintain production flow.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
