Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience as an assembler preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and other technical documentation is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, drawings, schematics and other technical documentation.
  • Assemble parts and components into completed or more complex units, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Follow all established procedures, work instructions and safety requirements.
  • Gather and prepare all required materials, tools, and equipment before beginning assembly.
  • Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment of components.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and report issues, malfunctions, defective parts, or other quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
