Job summary

Bpp Mfg is seeking a Quality Technician – Assembly in Sacramento, CA to execute final electrical and mechanical testing and inspections on switchgear and related assemblies before shipment.

The role ensures units pass functional, electrical safety, and workmanship requirements, supports NCR processes, and collaborates with manufacturing and quality teams to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience using measurement and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute final electrical testing per procedures and checklists (Hi-pot, insulation resistance, breaker trip).
• Perform final visual and mechanical inspections including torque, labeling, and BOM verification.
• Document inspection results and NCRs; support QC Inspector and document control requirements.
• Record test results accurately and maintain calibration status of test equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
