ZF in Marshall, IL is seeking a Final Assembly Operator to operate and troubleshoot assembly equipment, rotate through positions, and support training. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform tasks from labeling to final tests, ensure components meet solder and fit requirements, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to health and safety policies. This position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reading and math proficiency at 8th grade level.
• Ability to rotate into final assembly positions including ICT.
• Must complete applied mechanics and workmanship standards classes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate final assembly equipment including changeovers and rail adjustments.
• Inspect components to verify proper seating and solder requirements.
• Apply labels, assemble brackets, and verify placement.
• Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in operator training and follow safety procedures.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental programs.
