Have a strong summary of knowledge in processes, prints and procedures, which would include basic hands-on proficiency in the Coil Build area, as well as any other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment. Assist less experienced operators in setting up and troubleshooting problems. Able to execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.
This position requires the ability to operate equipment, setup equipment, identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct. This position also requires the ability to make arithmetic calculations, read blueprints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices. Ability to use equipment, this would include any equipment in the assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns and any other related equipment necessary to the position. Operators will be required to pull parts for the next order, set up sheet metal, install fins and lace tubes per the drawing.
