Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Final Assembler for the 2nd shift in Waukesha, WI. The role covers assembling exterior equipment for substations and transformers, wiring cabinets, and mounting components.

The position includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments and a comprehensive benefits package from day one. Shifts run 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble exterior equipment including fuses, controls, and panels.
  • Wire controls to accessories per drawings and BOM.
  • Assemble control boxes and ensure neat wiring with proper spacing.
  • Mount and secure switches, plates, and connectors as specified.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Final Assembler - 2nd Shift.The hourly rate for this position is $26.20-$27.78 depending on experience + $2.50 shift premium per hour. The hours for this shift are 3pm - 11pm, Monday-Friday.Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.*Bonus terms:Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. This includes all wiring inside the cabinets of all 3ph pads, wiring all substations, and assembly of control boxes containing up to (5) accessories. (Accessories are defined as all terminal blocks combined being (1) accessory; all breakers combined being (1) accessory, etc.)· Train and secure all wiring to allow for required spacing between accessories whether in cabinet or control box for neat appearance and customer access· Locates mounts and assembles air loadbreak switches, cubicles, doors, throat covers, hoods, fans and barriers as specified· Locates and mounts switch plates, identification and/or instruction plates as specified· Locates and attaches connectors to bushing terminal as specified and attach or cate lightening arresters as requiredQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
