Job summary

Mativ is hiring a Machine Operator at the Middletown location to safely set up and run extrusion lines, ensuring products meet quality specifications. You will document line conditions, monitor materials, and keep a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of machine operation experience, basic math and reading/writing skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. PPE provided and training offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn procedures.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills and data entry
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to measure products using standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate extrusion lines to meet quality specs.
• Document process line conditions and maintain clean work areas.
• Monitor supplies and stock as needed (cores, pallets, boxes).
• Move rolls using pallet jack to staging locations.
• Collect scrap and waste and ensure proper disposal.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain equipment safety.
