We are seeking aFilling Operator to work on the 2ndshift and join our dynamic team! The successful candidate will posses the listed skills and experience.
Overview
A Filler Operator is responsible for the continuous support of machine efficiency through various hands-on tasks associated with bottle filling, quality checks, product packaging, and compliance with all safety requirements (including but not limited to appropriate PPE, lifting, housekeeping).
Your role at Prestone
• Monitor bottle indexing on conveyor systems through the filling process
• Weight checks on filled bottles and fill cap hopper
• Component verification, bottle and label visual inspection, date code labeling correctness, product verification
• Monitor and complete minor corrections of the case packer system and fill case sealer and glue pots
• Support all changeover requirements of commodity product (changing caps, ensure bottles are pulled from line if not to be filled,
• Recoup process for reintroducing product from damaged bottles as identified by quality representative and shift supervisor.
• Start equipment and identify basic mechanical issues
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year manufacturing experience in any operations role required.
• Basic math and good communication skills (verbal, written).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
The production facility is within an indoor/outdoor, industrial environment and is not climate controlled. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). Bending, Balancing. Stooping. Kneeling. Crouching. Twisting. Reaching. Handling. Feeling. Seeing. Hearing. Standing long periods of time.
