Job description

Yakult USA - the world's leading probiotic drink manufacturer in Fountain Valley, is looking for Filling Machine Operators!

• Location: Fountain Valley, CA
• Direct Hire with Excellent Benefit Package: Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance, 401K with matching, Paid Holidays & PTO
• Work Hours: 5 days/week, Monday – Saturday (Sunday and another day off during the weekday), 1st shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm, 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 12:00am, 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 8:00am
• Salary Range: $20.50 ~ $26.50/hr plus $1.50/hr for 2nd shift, $3.00/hr for 3rd shift additional pay

Requirements for the Machine Operator:

• At least 1 year experience with filling machine operations in Food/beverage/chemical/pharmaceutical/related industry
• Sanitation process experience with basic knowledge of Food Technology/Science, HACCP, GM is a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Adaptable and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task
• Team-oriented mentality
• Able to follow company rules and regulations
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and climb to perform job functions as needed
• General Pasteurizer License under CDFA to operate UHT/HTST is a plus

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Oversee various stages of processing and production in a manufacturing environment, such as:
• Prepare equipment and raw materials for processing/bottling
• Maintain and sanitize production equipment
• Maintain inventory control for all materials
• Observe a safe work environment in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Troubleshoot issues under supervisor’s direction
