Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Machine Operator to safely run filling equipment, set speeds, and adjust timing to meet quality specs. The role requires weighing samples periodically, maintaining packaging quality, and keeping a clean, GMP-compliant work area.

You will report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and follow all safety and company policies. Prior experience on a production line with filler equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required.
• Must follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, reaching, and climbing.
• Good eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
• Ability to load/unload and move equipment/product up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass all company testing.
• Experience on production lines using filler equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling equipment safely and set speeds to pace the line according to standards.
• Adjust timing to ensure proper weight/volume per quality specs.
• Weigh a sample every 15 minutes (or as specified) to check accuracy.
• Maintain packaging quality and area cleanliness per GMP.
• Report malfunctions to supervisor immediately.
• Follow company policies, manufacturing and safety practices.
• Support Food Safety and Quality responsibilities within your influence.
